DANCE
Olivia is a former professional ballet dancer and transitioned into teaching when she moved to New Zealand in 2015. She is a qualified ballet teacher with Royal Academy of Dance and passionate to help educate dancer’s in a mindful and encouraging way to achieve their goals.
Olivia trained at the Royal Ballet School in London, as well as Elmhurst School for Dance in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet. She has danced professionally with Northern Ballet and Royal Ballet of Flanders, performing across Europe and globally to iconic cities around the world. She was also featured in Northern Ballet’s children’s ballets for CBeebies which was screened on TV and in cinemas across the UK.
Olivia gained a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance and became a qualified ballet teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance after completing the Professional Dancer's Postgraduate Teaching Certificate in Sydney Australia. Olivia became Head of Ballet at the dance studio on Waiheke Island (New Zealand), successfully entering students through RAD ballet examinations with a 100% pass rate helping dancer’s gain an internationally recognised qualification.
Olivia has also choreographed for prestigious competitions and performances, with a strong passion for lyrical dance and expressive movement. In 2021, Olivia's lyrical troupe 'Poison' came 1st place at NSPA Jazz Awards as well as awarded 2nd highest scoring troupe in the overall competition. She has choreographed for solos, duos and troupes for dancer's across Auckland and helped successfully mentor dancers in preparation for the professional dancing world.
